[SOLVED]Port Forwarding?

Post by Insection »

Ok so im setting up my rat, and i need to enable port forwarding

So i got to my router then i click port forwarding it asks for the following:

Name Port Start Port End LAN IP Address

I fill them all in, i click enable then apply.

I even check my firewall settings i add port 3460- which is the port that my rat needs.

I even try disabling firewall but still my rat wont work

I tell a friend of mine to scan my static ip and check if port 3460 is enabled, he says it doesnt show that port 3460 is opened even when i start the client on my rat.

Or am i doing something wrong when im setting up my rat?

Where it says DNS/Port i enter my ip address (not my lan ip ofcourse)

followed by :3460:0,

for e.g. xxx.xx.xx.x:3460:0,

and when i click test connections it comes out as a red cross and my internet freezes

Has anyone had the same problem or do they know what im doing wrong?

Or do i have to enable port triggers aswell?

and btw the rat im using is Poison-ivy

Have you set up a static ip?

or try using the free service from no-ip.
Good luck
