IRC server now up!

Just a question and a thought:

Are you updating the dns manually if so maybe I could come up with something to update automatically

Unless of course you want to update it manually

Yeah, i've got an auto updater, i just have to run it. Also, sorry about all the random up/down spikes, my friend restarted the computer alot (dunno why) and only ran the chat server when he remembered... *sigh*

Hey everyone, i've noticed a lack of use of the irc server, so i'm just gonna try and put some enthusiasm into you people. I'm always checkin if people are on, but the people i see on most are basically bad brain, necrix, and i. C'mon people, come to irc, have a beer (or soda, if preferred) and chat a little!

I check the IRC on a quite regular basis and there's seldomly somebody home.
(I agree, with European time, we are 6 à 5 hours ahead on the US).
So, if we want a party : post some dates or announcements

Ive just set up a Fileserver, Channel #Circuitbomb Fileserver, is the fileserver channel, so far only 15.8 megs of stuff but im adding more today

Labluegirl, you're +1 gmt, right? Well, i'm -6 gmt. So... you're 7 hours away... you're in Germany? Anyways, say we're using the 12:00 format, if it's 1:00PM here, then it's 8:00PM there. (13:00 here, 20:00 there)

So what times are convenient for all of you?

For me, anytime is ok. Buuttt:
The *best* times for me, personally is probably too early/late for all ya'll (BTW, I am in Belgium lol).
Soooo... anytime after 3-ish, CST is ok, but no later than 7 pm, CST. (Otherwise it is 2 am and then some here). On weekends it can be later, but only by 2 or 3 hours.
Is that specific enough for ya lol.
Man, I would really like to be able to chat with ya'll....

Sounds good to me. I'm thinkin about makin' a bot that notifies me if someone wants to talk.

like if you join #suck-o and type !call it'll tell me someone's in irc or something like that... Yeah, i'll make one of those... eventually. I've got WAAAY too many responsibilities on my shoulders right now for my own good... (along with that, my family's not supporting me either, they're bitching about me finishing up something too

) Anyways, yeah, i'll see what i can do.

Hey guys, the server's goin down for a few hours today.

Estimated down time: 7-8 hours
Reason: Severe weather

I've already had 2 computers fried because of a storm, i'm not gonna let this one do this comp too. Anyways, this weather's REALLY BAD, so that's why. I'll see you guys later.
