ok i got a job, and they want me to train in ruby,
and they asked me to find a trainer, and they'll be paying for it,
so anyone?

Get a Book. Read the chapters :D

As far as I can tell ruby is like python very easy to use so if you have any decent coding experience you can pick it up and be productive with it very easily

*shrugs I could be wrong

You should convince them to use Python and Spyce then I would help ya :-P

ask me, i can do it myself, i've always been self taught like most of you, but man they want to give me "professional" training, well i told them, that i can, but still if they wanna throw up their money its fine, do i care? :)

i know i can do it by myself,
and mab: they have several huge web apps written already in ruby, the new ones i wil be doing will be in php/perl, but i still need to maintain the existing ones. :oops:
