Whats worth getting?

Honestly in the past month a ton of new games came out

Crysis: Warhead is the sequel for the awesome game
Fallout 3 i heard was the shizznit and quite long.
Resistance 2 is coming out soon and it looks good aswell
Red Alert 3 came out and it also looks amazing
Dead Space doesnt look bad, heard it has a good story like BioShock
Farcry 2....*sign* how many games can they pump out

id get all of these but seriously thats too much
anyone play these? whats worth it?
lately its all about the gfx and id hate to play a crappy game
like Spore...which was alright but wtf...short and really boring after creature stage.

Three words: Left 4 Dead.

Slated to come out November 18 for US, Nov 21 for Europe.

I'll let you do the digging if you've not heard about it. I'll give you a hint: It's a Valve game.

My dad bought Red Alert 3, so I tried it out some.... no fun imo : / it's like driving with little toys... like micromachines x_x

Fallout 3 is really nice! CB and me are playing it since a few days...BUT for CB it crashes every 20 minutes and I have loads of graphic errors. for me it's playable, but if I would have payed for the game (found mine on the pavement ^^ ) I would be a little disappointed.....but well, nowadays it's sadly nothing special anymore that a game is released at 90% development status already....

got Fallout 3 and its amazing but a bit long
its also quite hard and reminds me of bioshock with the old furniture and music XD

btw BioShock Prequel is coming soon which is instant get for me

also Left4Dead does look good, hopefully it wont be a shitty zombie game
it looks fun since theres like 10 zombies jumping you and your like checking them with the shotgun and then hulk zombie
gamplay looks sick but ill try it before i buy it.

Never tried Bioshock, and since I don't play many games nowadays, I most likely wont either ^^ I mostly play WoW and BF2, and F.E.A.R at times.

Bioshock is the shit, and the next release will be an instant get for myself as well

Fallout 3 is amazing, its a great game, and yes its a bit long, but thats only because of its open endedness that Bethesda is known for...Oblivion, Morrowind anyone?

running the game on PC is a tragedy for me...but i went a got myself a nifty new xbox 360 just the other day with Bioshock and Mass Effect (another really good game) so Ill be picking up 360 games on the hizzy now as well...lol

here are some titles you should (or at least I am) looking out for soon...PC or console...

Prince of Persia - def gonna be sweetness, Ubisoft put the project with their team in Quebec who did Assassins Creed, gameplay looks fucking awesome.

Gears of War 2 - no explaination

Dragon Age: Origins looks pretty sweet so far...Bioware style RPG I gues syou could say its the next step after the Neverwinter Nights and Baldurs Gate games.

Fable 2 - the developers have made it a point to make this one more open ended so your not as limited to where you go like the first one, as well a lot of new features, as well as keeping the tone of the first one respectively.

Call of Duty - World at War (V) - yea well lets think CoD4:Modern Warfare with its great multiplayer and thrown back to WW2 again and it also being the first in the series to have co-op play, and vehicles to multiplayer, reports from friends playing the beta say its pretty good so far...guess we will just have to see...

Star Wars MMO - The Old Republic - is being developed by Bioware...wont see it for a few years prolly, but sure to deliver what the fans crave

Star Trek MMO - Seen some screenies, looks good, and should compensate for all the other Star Trek failures weve seen in games over the last several years.

Wolfenstein - looks fantastic, still set in the 1940's with the Nazi Regime the game is bringing in the more secret and occult aspects of that period in time and how everyone was looking for spiritual warfare. All three versions will release the same day, all three versions will be identical (ps3, 360, PC)

honestly i was never Prince Of Persia fan
played the games but never liked it so much
i did like a couple of Star Wars games that didnt fail
Battlefield 1942 was the shizzznit
i love playing on Normandy with max bots,
i play nazi and shit them up with the cannon errrr day

CoD4 i never really play that much.
CoD games are always good but im slowly turning into a casual gamer
since time is slowly becoming more scarce...you guys know what i mean

BioShock was awesome. I love everything bout it.
The Prequel will be about what happened Before BioShock
like how the city ended up there and what went wrong
i think it would be a great game, cant wait...

As for Fallout, im in love with it rite now havent stopped playing all day
its long as hell...i cant even find a guide for the shithole im in right now.
apparently my friend told me that its 500h of gameplay if you take everyquest and do every side thing...god damn it. that means im in the pooper.

gotta say Fallout has some serious headshots that rival GoW... ^_^

oh and i forgot....i loved Fable TLC, Fable 2 looks amazing and i really want to play it i just dont have dope to spend on shit right now so im just being a pirate and jacking games online. If i had the money i would buy them trust me its way way way easier. Im saving up for a trasporation device...so money will be scarse.

if u got a good proccessor around 2 ghz at dual core get stalker shadow of schenobyl,its a great game,didnt take me long to finish,but its a good game

Beat Fallout 3 and i was dissapointed at the end...but none the less game of the year for now.

Also got to play a Russian Left4Dead demo off a torrent and i gotta say this game is pretty damn good. Except the fact it freaks me out since theres like Hordes of zombies charging at you in the dark. The sounds are what gets to me most. So i beat the demo in like 10 min (1mission) but i definetly gotta get this game.

@hawtdawg, i already played have Crysis, i wont waste my time for FarCry2 since i didnt really like the 1st one that much...the second one i was watching my friend play looks like a normal FPS game with boosted graphics.

@rhysh, i've been wanting to play STALKER for a whilte now. Its a posibility i might end up doing so.
