C headers and a 4 legged robot ())___HELP__))>

I need some help finding header files for C. I would like to communicate to my 4 legged robot that guards my office in C. I have easily use visual basic to communicate to the bot, this is the current programming language used in conjunction with a wireless protocol I have developed; however I am learning C and want to try using it as the communications program language for my switch to Linux. Is there an experienced C coder out there I can trade knowledge with? :twisted:
