Stalker Clear Sky

Post by Swan »

Hi Guys,

recently updated by NVIDIA Geforce 4200 gfx card to the latest driver, and have been trying to play Stalker Clear SKy to no avail. The problem is during the game, the top half of the screen, (the sky, and when walking around the first top half of the screen) becomes very blurry. I cant describe it any other way....the screen looks like it is melting into one another....

Have been totally unable to enjoy the game as a result. Can anyone please help?

Tried changing the graphical settings? =)

Usually does the trick to experiment with it some

Stalker has always been notorious for having a multitude of bugs. From what i hear, Clear Sky is no different. My advice would be just to wait for the modding community to come out with fixes and such. Other than that all i can really say is double check your computer and make sure it meets the requirements. And check for patches.

well, Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl worked always fine for me, but Clear Sky was TOTALLY catastrophic...the last time I tried I had to disable almost everything in the graphics settings to be able to play it, but then there were still loads of graphic bugs and (even worse) game bugs that made it impossible for me to continue (I finished the first story mission but nobody came to the meeting point when I was done, so I was not able to finish the mission).

well, I will try it again in a few days (when I am done with Fallout 3) and will use the latest patch, until then I can only recommend to set everything to minimum (and turn all effects off) and see if it's better then.... :?
