I was thinking about setting up shell (BASH) accounts on my system for users here (and others), with required reply form.
Available things would be: basic command line, limited Perl (no CGI so no CGI.pm), SSH, (for Windows users use the excellent Putty.exe),

A sample of what I would like to offer can be found at telnet://nyx.nyx.org or res://nyx.nyx.org.

Also for a fee would be 50 Mb webspace on a LAMP config, AJAX, .NET (bono) activated.

it´s a very good idea, and especially beginners can learn a lot out of it!

um, it it´s ok for you I would promote the shell accounts on the site by placing a little announcement in a box... :)

I don't understand exactly what you mean. A banner-type thing? The site in my profile?
We can only accept a fixed number of people at this time. It is being advertised here first for the people who post here, friends of theirs, etc.

Still would like more opinions! lol

um, I meant to announce it on the startpage, but when it´s only for forum users first because it´s limited it´s ok too... :)
