Winamp Remote Access

So for the last few days i have been setting up my linux boxes with the intent of using one as a personal music server. Something i have not used in quite a while now is winamp. Now I downloaded the windows client and found now it also has a free browser based remote login.

Shame it isn't available on linux as i have just transferred all of my music. Well now it gives me time to format and start again afresh in a few days and have now found another decent use for windows.

Why am i using this option.....the missus wants to listen while she is at work and this is the easiest way she will understand

It actually says any pc or mac from any browser.

Also works with linux .....tested

I wonder how many doors this will open to exploitation

Hmm, haven't used winamp since it, "Whipped the llamas ass" lol but maybe worth another look.

Not too long ago I set up a streaming radio station with Squeezecenter and a DynDNS account (with updater of course)
