What makes hot peppers so bad (and pepper self defense spray) is it is oil based. Pepper spray for self-defense will stay on the clothing for weeks, touching it again will reignite the hot passion all over again

The oil-based nature of hot pepper is the reason why washing it down with water or beer does not remove the oils. You need something to absorb the oils, this is likely why you find coconut ice cream in Thai restaurants - it eases the pain with cold and absorbs the oils to remove it.

I haven't found anything else that works as well, rice, bread, or even eating the damn napkins

lol I'll try the cold 'hot' chocolate - the idea of drinking something hot after eating a hot pepper gave me visions of hell!
Nice jalapeanos there too!

We took the jalapeanos, cut them in half, pasted cream cheese in them, and wrapped them in bacon and grilled them - Yum!

nice harvest, I think the weird weather we had this summer (too cool) made for a lousy harvest here.

Nice pep-plants BB.

I love to cook with peppers and eat about 10-20 a day. Various types. Mostly serrano peppers, jalapenos and green chilies. I eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Um, my mouth is watering.

Looks great wish I could sample some with you.

yeah DNR, I really had luck with summer this year, only the Jalapenos simply don't wanted to turn red....but I have heard from others that you really need a perfect summer for that, at least by german means.

floody, we could exchange some seeds if you want to.... :)
