New wargames planned: developers sign up!

Post by bad_brain »

the owner of dark-hack.net, Canadian Spike, and me had a nice little talk about a cooperation for a wargame a few days ago. this wargame will be different than the ones we had on suck-o before, it'll have multiple stages, and to set it up we need people that have some spare time to help with the setup:

- web developers
- coders
- testers

do you have an idea for a challenge? then you should also join the team!
contact me via PM....

DrV, also remember this is an open forum - we can take ideas and you are certainly welcome to be a 'tester'.

I see now why Canadian_Spike was on our IRC the last time. I was unaware of that and I payed no attention to him at all.

Any way I think this is a great idea. Maybe I could be a tester. Since I do not know exactly what kind of a wargame this is going to be it is hard to say but I guess I could give it a try.
We will either find a way, or make one.

don't worry lyec, we had a meeting at that time where we discussed IF there will be a cooperation, so we talked mostly via PM anyway...

the wargame will have multiple challenges, so pretty any skills will be useful if you want to be a developer...PHP, JS, whatever... :D

I don't think at my level i can participate in any thing. But I would appreciate it if all the results of the war game and how to's are posted regularly, or at the end of the war game (as done before) since this would be a great learning opportunity for a totally lost starter like me

Hola Everyone,

First i would like to thank bad_brain and all suck-o crew for making this partnership possible, we had the chance to choose any website for this partnership but we choosed the best that's why every suck-o member should be proud being a part of this community.

Second the war games we're talking about here is something very unique, it will require a wide imaginary and a lot of hard work but it won't be a problem since we're seeking people who can simply code, design or beta test, want to gain more experience, earn a lot of respect, get their name curved on every challenge they participate in, meet some real leets and also want to have a lot of fun.

This war games will have 2 project managers bad_brain and me, we'll assist you in every step, we won't give you a task and wait for you to finish it but we'll work as a one big team to deliver the results we expect so never under estimate yourself if you have the talent and never hesitate to prove to yourself and to the rest of us that you can ;)

We are seeking [web developers, coders, graphic designer, pen testers, beta testers] so if you can code with php for example then you're qualified since it's labeled under web development section..etc

Every member participates in this project will get the following:
1) Free premium email @dark-hack.net for life-time.
2) His name curved in the challenge he coded or participated in.
3) Free signature design and high rank in DH if you're a member there.

I hope i helped clearing things out a bit and if anyone had a question just don't hesitate to let us know :)

Regards,
Canadian Spike

I guess I could help a little bit with the graphics, but I'm busy with school so don't expect that I'll be full-time graphics designer, think of me as... graphics support ;)

no need to be a fulltime developer ph0by....we all (me included) have other stuff to do too. it is not about spending as much time as possible when helping with the development, it is all about being reliable...

Well then I guess I won't be reliable. At least for the next 2 weeks when school ends. Then I think I'll be more available and reliable for all the tasks not just this one, but still... education doesn't stop with school ;)

We won't start operating before a month from now as we still need to gather the crew, work with our timing zone and define the operation plan so don't worry ;)
