D-Day, the Battle at Normandy happened this day, in which this Saturday happens to be the anniversary. I think it`s important to honors those who have fallen before us and to remember that in the end no one wins in these kinds of battles. The only people who profited from this battle are the war mongers who reap the rewards of arms sales, and manufacturing. As a human race we must stand up and not fight amongst each other, but fight these evil human beings who control us. I have a personal connection to this battle via my grandfather who fought at Utah, and was one of the lucky ones not to face much opposition and survived - many people were not so fortunate. To think my existence depended on his survival during this battle and the war. Baffles my mind - I know I owe someone something, it`s the least I can do to remember them.
With that being said, I leave you with a great Iron Maiden song written in tribute to the fallen at Normandy.
