DNR - gone on a walkabout

Post by DNR »

My crime lab professor died last night.

I am embarassed to say, but that man was better than my dad. He was one of the few people in life that saw my genius and brought me to a higher level of thinking and learning.

A lot of things are happening this week, today Friday will be the day I find out what will be the results.

A walkabout is a time to reflect, not to talk it out, not to seek other people, not to think of an answer. It is a time for No-mind, to give it all up. The walkabout is my religious experience, its where I just keep walking until He speaks to me. Today, I begin my long walk.

My friends, I shall return.

I agree. sometimes its the only thing to do. My walkabouts can last a few months, the longest i disappeared for on my own was 12 months. The only contact i had with people was in the canteen at lunch times.

You never know whats round the corner and when you feel rock bottom you know you can go no further. After that you realize you can only go up.These things are sent to try us and test us.

Today i feel much better. I have got the internet again now and had a top night with a hot babe last night and i see the sun shining through once again.

Sorry to hear about your dear friend. Remember he is in a higher place and maybe able to give you more strength than before.

Its a funny old world.

Take care my friend and hope today brings good news

It'll feel strange without your insightful posts around, but we'll manage somehow, until you return. :)

Good luck.

I am still continuing my walkabout. As I keep walking, riding my mtn bike, drive, I shed everything. You let all the noise, all the commercials, all the talk in your head die out. All that you will be left with is yourself.

As I come back 'online', I carefully restore only what is important, you take care of your needs first.

Suck-o is one of the needs, it provides a purpose in my life. It is more than just keeping up on skillz, or making friends, it was something that I feel is a part of my identity.
