don't worry, the staff will watch it closely as we always did.....plenty of such post already have been removed in the past, most users simply haven't noticed it because it always happens pretty fast.
and btw, I doubt it'll attract loads of visitors anyway, there are enough communities that are focused on skiddies....

We delete plenty of newbie posts that violate the rules, or at least have fun being sarcastic "DoS 5.5" thread.

I like DrV, he thinks alike. It is possible that ten lamers can create a disturbance in the forums - but suck-o staff is 24/7. I have deleted entire threads, I have issued my own warnings, and initiated bans. The real security of suck-o is due to the active 24/7 parcipation of the staff, we respond to trouble as it happpens and we don't have to wait for BB's final say. Any disturbance can be shutdown and removed in a matter of hours, if not minutes. We don't play with bans, you get banned by BB - stick a fork in ya, cuz yer done!

I just rather not waste time fixing problems by drama queens and posers, I rather teach and learn from my peers.

While suck-o was meant to be antisocial, its doors are open on the chance one of those newbies might be a worthy member.

I would say at this point it is worth a shot. I know from my personal experience i randomly found suck-o as some newb. had no intentions of doing anything with computers and got on and started asking questions. Now im leaving to go to college for software engineering in two weeks. Suck-o helped me a lot but what about those people that couldnt find the place? orkut will help people find suck-o, lame people and cool people alike, but still people. Its another chance to learn or meet somebody new. DNR u once said something along the lines of another friend is just waiting for you to say hi to them, i totally agree with that. Maybe by spreading suck-o around we can make a few more friends :P

We will all dislike the fact that this could create more and more threads of noobs trying to get someone to tell them step by step how to hack a friends account. however it will also help out. Even if 1 out of 10 new people become good worthy members, its more members. Also when noobs post stuff like that and get shot down it will build our reputation up for the better. being a good quality strict forum that promotes and means well to others out there pushing to learn more.

i say quit being stuck up and selfish and let people that are interested in and try to learn.
i started here on suck-o 2 years ago and its done a lot for me. I would only like to do the same for others.

stuck up and selfish? Let people in? All they have to do is register. Most people fail because all they wanted was the one-click app that hacks all.
The door for learning is open, but we found that if don't make people 'work' for their knowledge, then they will come around only when they want a hand-out.

if all they have to do is register then spreading our name would only open more doors to people registering.
theres no doubting that people will always pop in and ask for that one click hack app, but assuming that every person that registers will be like that, isnt fair. If a member joins and shows an interest in working for knowledge, we help out. If one shows up asking for someone to hold his hand, we give him the cold shoulder you seem to be so fond of :P

naw  I rather YOU learn to develop a cold shoulder - by answering the next ten new newbie questions of "What do I do with an IP" or "can I hack my mom's email" or "Is the government reading my emails and looking at my porn?"

You want to be elite, do elite stuff

Oh, I'll even pay you 25 cents!

* thats a cold shoulder!

Look, when you help others, you help yourself. When you help yourself, you make yourself helpful to others.

(why do I get these saying with multiple same word use?)
But you have the right heart for it. We just don't want you to get hurt when you figure out many people don't want help, they want something else and its not worth playing games trying to figure out how to negotiate with them. Just keep it simple - keep the gold for ourselves, and give shiny trinkets to the natives. They like that shit.

cold shoulder*
got it!
Look, when you help others, you help yourself. When you help yourself, you make yourself helpful to others.
you also get sayings that are words to live by :)

Now that you say it, its more apparent to me that there is a time and place for everything. Some people want a generous easy helping hand, others want the kick start forward and people to do things for them. Finding people you can meet halfway are worth your time. If you realize its gonna me a more 75-25 experience, give that could shoulder a whirl :D
