but instead I presented the list in a _forum_ format.

Actually "Options Indexes" in a .htaccess file would have done it.

by pure chance that's my server, Options None and AllowOverride None, there goes your .htaccess... :P

hehe, yeup.... :-99

.htaccess can be pretty dangerous, a successful attacker could abuse it for further intrusion, like disabling specific server modules for a directory for example...so I am pretty anal about it... :wink:
