Seems it sends GET requests to cybertexting.com and detected compiler is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. The file seems "safe".

clean or not:

- post count is too low for advertising
- wrong board
- program is not "our style"

thread will be removed soon.

Yea, helpful as in educational value (learn about SMS and exploit). But if didn't keep a tight lid on people dropping URLs and files sooner or later it will be a infected file - you just don't want to get in the habit of giving out trust like that.

This is not to say that any post made by a 20+ post member will be safe either. This is a grey area of the internet and should not be trusted.

But you can trust your suck-o admins

Well, I just like to check what malware these users are dropping by for us to grab.

Reverse Engineering is a hobby of mine, so when I see posts such as this, or crackme posts, I am the one that would download and check. I mean I ain't stupid, so I run it in a sandbox, but just prying up what these users really have to offer or give credz to makes me laugh.

If the file in hand was infected, than thats an attempted breakin to gain authorization to a computer on these forums and can be taken to a serious offense such as a ban.

I didn't want you to ban a user who just didn't view the rules, but continued offenses such as these minors ones can easily add up. I just don't want suck-o to be given the "ban-if-you-dont-read-the-rules" forums, kinda like the strict forums such as blackhat-forums.com where all the skiddies flood in and get ban'd as quickly as they joined.
