Why not just make an introduce yourself forum instead of just a thread, it's easier to find for the new people.

Yeah,I would have to second that.Progenic's BBS has an introduce yourself thread but it's easy to find since there's not too much forums and the thread happens to be in the first one.

Here it's different and newbies are not aware of it(the thread) so they are introducing themeselves in the newbies forum since they are newcomers.

So it would be better if an "Introduce Yourself" forum is created in the "Fun and discussion" category.
