Windows Installer error

long story short i cant run .msi files. this error pops up and i cant do a thing but close it.

running W7 RC build 7100
windows installer was working fine up untill a few days ago. i can't image what might have changed.

Just delete the folder (disabledsessions) in regedit, it should have the same effect.

that one seems to solve it for most people:

1) Boot OS in Safe Mode.
2) Then in Run Command type msiexec\regserver
3) restart in Normal Mode

i noticed your running 7100 rc build, unless there was a specific reason your running that build or have too much to back up i would install the RTC build, which im going to do later tonight

hm, here is a fix I've found, maybe it works for you too:

unzip it, rightclick the .reg file and "merge"....

that didnt work either bad brain, i'd already tried it, i'll just reinstall sometime
