University lectures

Post by ayu »

For those of you who hasn't been at a University, I would like to show you how a lecture works at a University.

This is the story of .... Notebooktopia... or something

Usually when you start the lecture, you're all "have to take notes! this is important!"

The notes (even if you write sloppy as I do) look very serious and are usually informative for you.

(This is actually one of my doodle notes where I tried solving some stuff, so it's extra sloppy)

Now, after about 1 hour, your notes are still serious and informative

Now .... 2+ hours ... the notes usually takes another shape ...slowly

This is our illustration of how you make 1000 meat balls

And for those special HCI (Human Computer Interaction) lectures, usually a freaking MASTERPIECE gets created.

So, Now I guess you're all thinking "man I can't wait to get to the Uni and start that shit!".

hehe, yeah, I once bought an office chair there.....I think the designer of it was marquis de sade, that's the only explanation I have for placing 2 screws in the seat, after a few weeks the cushioning on top of the screws was sunken so they began to pierce my buttcheecks... #-o

Cats, I remember the college days, the long boring lecture - the teacher would get off track and I'd be the geek that set them back on track lol.

I would write in my text books, I saved them all. The best ones were the ones with pictures where you can draw funny comment balloons to make funny comments.

I see some people use tape recorders, I tried the laptop for taking notes one time (lost pen) - but it disturbed everyone when I would type very quickly. Then there were a few times I got caught with Doom playing.

We also have a networked computer in front of us in class, so grabbing the tools off my web portal and start sniffing. It was easy to sniff the segment for IM convo to inject funny comments into, or perhaps try BSOD a students computer while they are working on it (they never save their work!)
