Windows 7 taskbar tweaking help

Post by visser »

So I dont know about you guys but when i use my computer I usually have more programs running that i know what to do with. I have multiple firefox windows open and all that good stuff. I had an idea tho:

when i minimize firefox the other window is still open and its easy enough to minimize the other window but i want it so that all i have to do is click the icon on the taskbar and it minimizes both of those windows. How in the world would i do that? can windows 7 do that even?

mmm you want a click that minimize only firefox windows or all windows ???

if all windows... i think win7 must have a "desktop" icon to add in the task bar like XP  (am still on XP )
or you can press windows + D and all will be minimized

if the first case is what yo are asking for... well i have no clue lol

yeah its got aero peek which is helpful but i dont always want to just minimize everything. sometimes I just want to minimize one group of like programs. i used firefox as an example cuz i have multiple windows of that running on a basic days use. but there are also all my windows for exploring folders i may want to minimize or things like that.... i thought it would be pretty handy lol
