So, I bought something that has a Chinese power cord, and I need a converter of some sort. It's easy to buy in stores around here for when you leave the country, but I can only find for European => Chinese, and not the other way around.
Can anyone assist? =)
I think Lundis will appreciate this as well, as he bought the same "thing" ^^
I/we will write a little review about it later
Chinese => European power cord
Chinese => European power cord

hm, found an adapter for hongkong->europe, is the hongkong plug the same as the chinese?
if yes: found it at amazon..
if no: what kind of chord is it? is it a simple cord or one with embedded power supply? I mean, if it's just a simple cord I would cut the plug off and get a "regular" one for 2-3 bucks at the local electronics store...
or needs the voltage to be converted too?

In Chine like in Europe voltage is 220/240, and you need just cut wire and put no regular supply.

I checked all stores nearby, no one had it...
Considering that it's USB anyway, it should recharge when you plug it in to your computer too, right?
Instead of getting one of those on b_b's pic, I bought http://www.media-tech.eu/page.php?do=de ... 603&kid=20. It's mainly meant for laptops, but it has a USB port as well. It was a bit expensive though, luckily they cut the price in half!
My point is, any power plug -> USB converter will work.

The problem with charging it in the computer is that the screen is on and it shows that USB picture, which can be dangerous for the device since it might get burned in if it's left like that for a longer period.
Dunno if it does the same when you charge it regularly?
