OK, here's my submission:

I know I left out a lot of people. I added only the recently active staff to avoid a big crowd.
PS: Cats stabbing BB (dr. evil) is a total coincidence

There is an UNEQUAL amount of good and bad in most things, the trick is to work out the ratio and act accordingly. "The Jester"

first the bad news:
my sister is away, so I had to decide it myself....and I hate such decisions because all of you put time and effort in it, so actually all of you deserve a price.
now the good news:
I stocked up the prizes a little. yep prizes, now there are 3. the winner can chose which book he wants and the 2nd and 3rd winners simple gets the other ones. 2 books are the same, so in case the winner picks 1 of those 2 books the 2nd winner can chose from the 2 different ones again.
ok, let's make it short:
the winner is: Maboroshi. not.
the winner is: skip.
I simply love the "that's all folks!"-style and it really makes a good logo too....also the usability as wallpaper is the best imo.
the 2nd winner is: gogeta.
the style is the complete opposite of skip's work and I love the cool 3D effect.
the 3rd winner is: ph0bYx.
that one was the hardest to decide, actually I couldn't chose between ph0 and l0ngb1t....so I named ph0 "1" and l0ngb1t "2" and asked circuitb0mb (of course he didn't knew why I asked) to say 1 or 2...and he said "1".
ok, now the updated prizes:
one time the "Linux in a Nutshell" book, as announced,
and 2 times this one:
650 pages of:
thanks to everyone for their hard work...
