I usually spend the evenings watching movies or playing games but this time I dedicated it to suck-o by creating this wallpaper. I made a couple more but I am going to post this one for now.

OK, here's my submission:

I know I left out a lot of people. I added only the recently active staff to avoid a big crowd.

PS: Cats stabbing BB (dr. evil) is a total coincidence :P

There is an UNEQUAL amount of good and bad in most things, the trick is to work out the ratio and act accordingly. "The Jester"

aaalrighty.

first the bad news:
my sister is away, so I had to decide it myself....and I hate such decisions because all of you put time and effort in it, so actually all of you deserve a price.

now the good news:
I stocked up the prizes a little. yep prizes, now there are 3. the winner can chose which book he wants and the 2nd and 3rd winners simple gets the other ones. 2 books are the same, so in case the winner picks 1 of those 2 books the 2nd winner can chose from the 2 different ones again.

ok, let's make it short:
the winner is: Maboroshi. not.

the winner is: skip.
Image

I simply love the "that's all folks!"-style and it really makes a good logo too....also the usability as wallpaper is the best imo.

the 2nd winner is: gogeta.
Image

the style is the complete opposite of skip's work and I love the cool 3D effect.

the 3rd winner is: ph0bYx.
Image

that one was the hardest to decide, actually I couldn't chose between ph0 and l0ngb1t....so I named ph0 "1" and l0ngb1t "2" and asked circuitb0mb (of course he didn't knew why I asked) to say 1 or 2...and he said "1".

ok, now the updated prizes:

one time the "Linux in a Nutshell" book, as announced,
and 2 times this one:
Image
650 pages of:
Keep black-hat hackers at bay with the tips and techniques in this entertaining, eye-opening book! Developers will learn how to padlock their applications throughout the entire development process from designing secure applications to writing robust code that can withstand repeated attacks to testing applications for security flaws.

Short, easily digested chapters reveal proven principles, strategies, and coding techniques. The authors two battle-scarred veterans who have solved some of the industry s toughest security problems provide sample code in several languages.

This edition includes updated information about threat modeling, designing a security process, international issues, file-system issues, adding privacy to applications, and performing security code reviews. It also includes enhanced coverage of buffer overruns, Microsoft(r) .NET security, and Microsoft ActiveX(r) development, plus practical checklists for developers, testers, and program managers.
to the winners: please send me your addresses via PM, the 1st winner please announce here what book he wants, in case it's not the Linux book the 2nd winner has to post which book he wants.

thanks to everyone for their hard work... :D

Feels kinda bad to get the 3rd place only because of luck :(
l0nb1t is so gonna hate me xD

Oh and btw, I think we can use skip's wallpaper for the logo on the dark-themed suck-o v2.
