Stuff to do in New York?

So, I'm going to New York in a few months ... and I have no idea what to do there.

Sure we'll see the regular stuff like the Statue of liberty, ground zero ... empire state building, times square ... etc

but I want to do more!

I want tips about cool stores, good food to eat, give me some of that American goodness!

Oh and, how the hell do I find stuff in New York?
I tried to search for "New york anime" on google maps, but dunno what is good and what is not =|

Anyone know of any awesome anime/manga store there? : D

anime and manga is banned in USA, under penalty of death by taxicab.

You are left with normal choices, like checking out a Broadway show, visiting some elite clothing outlets, fine eatery's.

Marijuana is decriminalized there too.

Other choices -
-get robbed
-get assaulted, for being foreign
-get assaulted, just for asking about anime
-get jailed for breaking simple laws, like asking about anime
