So yah... asp

Post by maboroshi »

I know you probably are all thinking "asp bleh, Microsoft is evil I will never use there products"

But I have been messing around with asp.net in Visual Studio Express 2010 and must say I am impressed. I am pleased with the User interface to creating web apps, although I like to code myself I could see being very productive in this environment if I was to get good at it. The code that is generated is very clean and I like this coming from a Python background. I watched a developer video on ASP.net MVC 2 which got me intrigued, it was very impressive to see some one so fluent in the User Interface and code.

Anyway the way I see it code bloat is minimal and the UI is productive. As for me if I will keep working on it... Probably not Oreilly just got some new books on Django and Jython so catch ya later

Cheers
