avoid Rapidshare from now on!

Post by bad_brain »

Rapidshare has announced that they "will bring out the difference between RS and illegal filehosters much more in the future". this actually means your data as file uploader is not safe anymore...but also for file downloaders RS is a dead end now because they not just loosen their privacy policy as it seems, they have also removed the points feature. so for uploaders there is no incentive anymore (before uploaders been able to keep their accounts for free if they had enough downloads of their files by converting the points to account runtime).

so: avoid RS from now on.

Greatest news I've heard in a while! Let's hope people catch on and start using www.mediafire.com or another superior site without long waiting times and non-availability instead! :D

Well, I still use RS. But I use HF and MU also. Not much profit from RS nowadays.
Neither I earn frm HF and MU, but i must respect RS, coz it earned me $2000, approx.

Just by uploading stuff to it? Whoa, that is a lot of money.

well, RS wasn't bad, but hard to find decent stuff on it nowadays, not many people upload to RS anymore.
I have made bad experiences with UL, I had an account once and it suffered from low bandwidth repeatedly....but ok, that was already 2 years ago.
I might give hotfile or depositfiles a chance when my RS runs out in a few days... :-k

Go for HF, its best nowadays, (ppl say) and I also find it good after RS.
RS will melt in next few months if they continue with their current plan.

yeah, pretty hard to find newer stuff on RS already now, most uploads are to uploaded, hotfile and share-online.
my account runs out in 2 days, from then on I will avoid RS, netload should be avoided at all cost too btw, they provided user data to copyright lawyers.
