posting pics - use our own image host!

posting images on v2, things are a little different from now on.
large images will not cause an gigantic page width as on v1 anymore, now they are simply cut at the side...which of course looks bad (well, the gigantic page width was also no picknick to watch ).
it's the best anyway to upload images and link them as thumbnail to the actual pic, doing this on host like imageshack of course bears the danger of the image being deleted sooner or later, and that's why we have our own image hosting now!

the link is also in the top navigation bar for quick access when posting on the boards...

Whatever you do, never ever use imageshack or tinypic with their ad infested pages and redirect tactics. This is good.

its very fast in uploading it uploads 700kb picture in 30 secs

the best ad blocker is a site without ads...
and I also hate the clickaround stuff on imageshack and other image hosts until you finally reach the original image.

and it's better not to use it outside of suck-o, because it's not meant as public host...of course I will not say anything against a couple of images on other sites, but as soon as I notice too much traffic/connections I will remove the pic....
