Windows 7 Dual Boot Problem

Post by z3r0aCc3Ss »

I have 4 drives, C;, D:, E:, F:.
Out of this, on my C: drive my main Windows 7 is installed and im using it.
On my F: drive, I installed XP, but removed immediately due to some problem. Then again I installed Win 7 on F: and now I am getting 2 options during start-up. So, how do I remove second OS on F: drive, without causing any troubles?

Good link. Thanks.
I followed that tutorial, and formatted my F: drive, but haven't restarted yet.
I hope it won't cause any problem.
Any suggestions?

just go on and dont worry it wont cause any problem as far as i know...! plus the first one u installed in C: so nothing changed in there. one thing that win7 does is that it does not show the drive on which some other OS is installed so njoy ;)

That should have worked #-o anyway,
try this..boot in window you wish to keep click start->run->msconfig->boot->you will get list of os installed highlight the one you don't wish to have and simply delete it and restart if that don't works too then just simply format the F drive by going to mycomputer->right click on F:drive and choose format that will surely work fine :)
