HP laptop problem

Post by l0ngb1t »

ok i have a laptop HP at work that i suppose to repaire
the problem is that harddisk was formated without installing an OS
each time i try to boot from CD it simply doesn't boot, instead i get this error : boot device was not found no operating was isntalled.... bla bla bla
hard disk : 3f0

i went directly to the bios -> boot devices
boot from cd - dvd rom was enabled but the wierd thing the harddisk didn't appear in the list

then i went to the boot menu and nothing was listed thiere
maybe it's bios problem...

i searched every forum but nothing useful :S
any help ?

EDIT: problem solved i just set the bios conf the default from the bios menu, i try it before but it didn;t work... it wokred now and stil don;t know why  i guess the laptop is trying to drive me crazy to crash him
