Hey guys i got here a 8gb ram quad core 4tb hdd dedi
And im going to setup a Root War Game
SSH on it
Anyone that has knowledge in Exploiting Linux Kernels or has any idea that they would see implemented in this game please do tell me.
The idea of this game is simple
there are 2 teams
1. Hackers
2. Defenders
Hackers Job:
Your job is to find way's to gain access to the Defenders Box and upload a defaced page to /location/*
Defenders Job:
Your job is to stop them simple as that
Yes i know the Defenders Job will be very easy to block the hackers
Which is why this game is going on a Point Counting system
All processes / Services are being logged if the Defenders shutsdown 1 of them the game is over and Hackers win.
All Commands are logged Yes i know you can check .bash_history
But which is why i will be implementing another way to log all commands therefore you can not cheat the system
Since this box is so big im sure i can run about possibly 4 VPN's on it
Here is a Hint for the hackers
1. You will have to find the Typograph and find out as much info as you can about all local servers running on the network
After you do that you will need to exploit your self to gain further to a server
* cant tell you anymore *
2. Defenders your job is simple
just like the police do " Protect and Defend "
Anyone that wants to help message back on this thread
Thanks
