I am planning to install Windows 7, Windows XP and Kubuntu on a single partitioned HDD.
Is it favorable if I do that?
Also, I have tried to boot Win 7 and Kubuntu but I faced many problems as Win 7 overwrites grub. Any solution to this problem?
Can anybody give me step by step on installing all the 3 OS?

Install win7x64 ultimate, you can then run programs in XP compatability mode if they are not working. Use wubi to install kubuntu will remove the hassle of editing the boot file.

well, I had a system with 4 OSs already (Debian Etch, Debian Lenny, XP and Solaris), so it's technically no problem.
what I would do in you case is to create 3 partitions, one for each OS, then install XP, 2nd Windows7 (or vice versa, doesn't matter), and Kubuntu last.
GRUB should recognize the 2 other OSs and create the entries automatically....but I have to admit that I have no experience with win7 in context with GRUB, but at least with XP it works out of the box, so the chances are good that GRUB also recognizes win7 automatically.
