lol, just always ready for a road trip plus catastrophe :)

Water, canned food, fire extinguisher, tire repair kit plus auto inflator, emergency blanket, e-tool, extra clothes plus a pair of boots, flash lights with extra batteries, road flares, GPS, compass, signal mirror, well stocked first aid kit, wool blanket, in addition to the usual spare tire, jumper cables and snow chains.

I used to make a lot of cross country trips... I just felt more comfortable knowing if my car broke down I wouldn't be ass out of options. Nothing would be more miserable then knowing you were going to die because you're a piss poor planner. I guess I just never dropped the habit... because it's all still back there in a couple of milk crates :D
